While studying Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, students created "personality collages" of one of the
characters they most identified with from the play. The students were able to make a personal connection to the characters,
and therefore gain a better understanding of their motives in the play.

To help them discover the world of the Renaissance Period, students worked in groups to create a graphic presentation
(in this example, a poster) and give a brief "talk" of their new knowledge. This lesson was part of a unit on Shakespeare
and can be found under "Internet Inquiry" to the left.
